Reflections of Bare Trees

“We cannot see our reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see.” – Zen Proverb

These photos were taken at the Wilson’s Botanical Gardens as I was walking with my husband. It is now winter here in Melbourne , Australia so things are looking quite gloomy.

Amazing reflections. What a perfectly still day it must have been, not a ripple on the water – but that’s not to take away from the photographer!

    1. Teresa says:

Oh…Maris that is nice of you!

  4. Parul Thakur says:

    1. Teresa says:

      Will do, Parul.

  5. JoAnna says:

Your wonderful photos remind me that sometimes it depends on where we look as to whether things are gloomy, beautiful, or interesting.

    1. Teresa says:

Yes, depends on one’s past experiences too, I guess!

  6. Mali says:

I quite like the sculptural nature of trees wtih bare branches. And the symmetry of reflections. Thanks!

    1. Teresa says:

Love your comment Mali. Thanks so much.
