“Reality leaves a lot to the Imagination.” – John Lennon
This is a challenge that is putting real animals or nature versus objects that are products of man’s imagination…
A yellow orchid from our garden and the other photo is of a Batik textile painting of orchids. While in Malaysia I attended a Batik workshop and one of the most popular motif that they do are flowers just like this below.

Sunflowers are a source of happiness whether it be real or metal.
Threesome silliness …
Warning – this image may be disturbing for some.
This is a wooden sculpture in Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens in Daylesford. I saw this other fella in the grounds of the Rhododendron Gardens in the Dandenong Ranges and he is a rescued Wombat. I was slowly creeping so as not to disturb him but was surprised that he wasn’t moving away. Later on did I find out from the ranger that he is blind but he said not to worry because at the moment he is already being treated for his blindness and for his wounds.
A wooden carving of a duck vs a duck in the woods.
A rose by any other material is still a rose.
A cute Streetart which I have featured before here and this other one is a hungry cuddly koala in the Koala Conservatory in Phillip Island, Victoria. Koalas eat Eucalyptus leaves and sleep most of the time so I had a hard time looking for them because they were all asleep. 🐨
Oh Teresa, what a fun post you have for us this week. I really like this 😀
Thanks so much Cee. I enjoyed searching in my archives too ❤️
Great comparisons – I like the trio of birds in particular!
They look happy … both of them!
