Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I don’t usually answer prompts. Words don’t always come easily to me, and what I feel is often clearer in photos than in sentences. But this prompt kept appearing on my screen, so here I am…
I believe that in a perfect world we wouldn’t dwell too much on the past or worry about the future, but simply live in the present. Yet, as a normal human being…
I often find myself looking back with fondness. I remember the laughter of my kids arguing over who would place the Christmas star on top of the tree… travelling to dream destinations… and the moment I rekindled my love for drawing.
I also think about the future. I know none of us can truly foresee what lies ahead, but I make plans—hoping to provide better for my children, and dreaming of future trips still waiting to be taken.
So I guess I really didn’t answer the prompt hahaha

I think you answered it perfectly. 😉
Oh glad I did.
