Mornington Peninsula walk

With Melbourne’s weather finally improving, hubby and I went on an impromptu walk. Our first stop was brunch, and I was delighted to see murals brightening the walls of the café.

Our next stop was a new find for us—The Studio & Co in Moorooduc. Set amid rolling farmland, this expansive creative hub captures the artistic and laid-back spirit of the Mornington Peninsula. It’s a space where artists, designers, and makers come together to create and collaborate.

Beyond the galleries, the site offers plenty to explore—shops, studios made from converted shipping containers, workshops, event spaces, a nursery, and even a café.

We then took a leisurely stroll along Mornington’s main street, admiring the murals—some familiar from before and a few fresh new ones.

Strolled past a walkway lined with colourful umbrellas at a shopping spot in Mornington.

We came across a vibrant little shop filled with felt creations. The owner mentioned they were all designed in Australia but handcrafted in Nepal.

After that, we wandered down to the esplanade and dock area, where the sea breeze, boats, and open views made for a perfect end to our Mornington stroll.

Sorry this is a late post for me as days turned out to be quite hectic. This was a walk in late August.

Thanks Jo. I am not worried anymore with those pingbacks as WP does it to me every so often. But good you saw it. Have a good day Jo.
