Moods from sunrise to sunset

Ann-Christine is the host for this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge, with the theme of Setting a Mood.

The mood of sunrise over the town is hopeful and refreshing. Soft warm gold light creates a cozy glow. The early morning quiet adds to the feeling of possibility as the world begins to wake up.

The mist over the wetlands adds a sense of mystery. Ducks gliding by bring life to the stillness, moving gracefully through the water.

It is joyful and lively as kids run around, laughing and playing with bubbles. Their excitement fills the air, creating a sense of fun and celebration. It’s a cheerful, carefree atmosphere, full of smiles and happiness.

The mood created by church stained glass window is serene and uplifting. The colourful light filtering through fills the space with a sense of peace and spirituality.

Raindrops create soft sounds as they hit the ground, and puddles mirror the world above. Everything feels fresh, inviting moments of reflection and thought. It’s a soothing atmosphere that brings a sense of stillness.

It is quiet when the rain comes, and a rainbow appears. As the rain fades, the bright colours of the rainbow emerge, bringing a sense of wonder and joy. It’s a moment that feels magical and uplifting.

At certain times of the day, the town square, though still busy with people walking about, feels quiet and peaceful, inviting thoughts and contemplation.

Even the alleyways and streets were empty. The silence made the spaces feel still and solitary, contributing to the overall calm of the city.

As the day wore on, the sun dipped lower, casting long shadows. A different mood began to take hold.

Wonderful post Teresa – loved the way you took us through the day and its moods. Especially loved the image of the fallen leaves.

Very moody! I particularly love the golden hour shots, my favourite time of day

    1. Teresa says:

Hey same here. The Golden Hour is the best time.

  3. Wow! Stunning photographs. My favourite is the children chasing the bubbles with such joy! It proves it’s not the expensive toys that will make a child happy but a simple bubble gizmo.

Thanks so much for visiting. That is true, it is not the expensive toys that make a child happy.

Such lovely soft images, Teresa. This is quite poetic.

Glad you found it poetic, that was what I was trying to do but I didn’t know if that was what I was able to achieve. Thanks Jo.

Thanks I.J. it pays to go out of the house early.

  8. Lovely photos. It’s easy to understand how ‘spiritual’ messages were read into clouds, sun and rainbows when none of the science or knowledge was known.

    1. Teresa says:

Glad you stopped by. Thanks for the comment.

So true, Ritva, a little change in the sky gives you a different mood all together. Thanks for commenting.
