Monochrome and Me

Today’s themed Monochrome topic is People and it is a challenge from Sarah of Travel with Me blog.

If you follow Sarah, you will know that she loves taking photos of people and she is very good at it. And if you know me, you will find that I am the opposite. So how can I do this post? I decided to take photos of people from behind.

This is family. Although they would be willing to pose for me, I find that there is more character to have these candid moments when they’re lost in thought and their gaze turned away.

You’re right – photographing people from behind is a great way to get more comfortable with candid photography and also helps to show the context for where they are and what they are doing

Thanks Sarah, this approach on photographing people goes well with me. Maybe I should do more next time.
Love your images as per usual, Sarah.
