“Don’t have much to say that wouldn’t look better on a wall.” – BiP
A few days ago, Tim sent me some photos again of some of the places he visited. It is a lovely feeling to know that he is thinking of me enough to take photos of things and places that he knows that I will like. True enough…I enjoyed looking at it as though I was there with him enjoying the site and the murals.
For Sami’s Monday Murals and for Whatsoever is Lovely
This is a view of the Canary Wharf financial district from Greenwich peninsula 📸 taken by @timothycasten in London.
A work put up in the wall spaces in Shoreditch, London. This is by Jim Vision entitled ”Oblivion Song” and can ne found in Rhoda Street. The second one can be found in Jerome Street.
The faces of comedy greats have been spray painted on the Bill Murray in Queen’s Head Street which has been home to Angel Comedy since 2016. Street artist, Zabou, who painted the original mural of Bill Murray has added larger than life paintings of Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Connolly and Rowan Atkinson.
The Rhoda Street one might still be there the next time I go to London but the Jerome Street one has probably already been trashed or painted over by another artist – street art is short-lived around there. Jim Vision’s work tends to last a long time.
My son just went there a few days ago, so hopefully you can still get there in time.
Your son has a good eye for a photo – I love the night shot of Canary Wharf!
Thanks, my two kids are good in photography, better than their mum! 🤩😂
Great images! Thanks for the tour.
My pleasure!
Well done murals of favorite comedians!
Thanks Rebecca ❤️

I love those murals! Such a splash of colour. And Mr Bean is the cherry on the top!
I know…love Whoopi and Mr Bean ❤️❤️
It’s so nice to keep the connection with your son. The murals are amazing art work.
Yes, both of my kids send me photos now and again. Thanks Mama.
