How to begin?

“How to begin? Silence . The hubbub of life outside seems to pause in the night. Words, ideas, memories, and stories are the paths that guide my step.“ – Paulo Coehlo

Today is the first day of the 365 days of 2022. It is time to start anew. Forget all the tears, the fears, the plans that were cancelled, the anxiety, the PCR test done right on New Year’s day and now waiting patiently for the results.

Now…back to business…back to blogging… How to begin?

Hubby gave me this Planner which features quotes from Paulo Coelho and designed by Catalina Estrada. So I guess for this year, most of my quotes will be taken from this.

For CFFC – Four colours or More

For Jude’s Life in Colour

And today I want to start with a new mindset and ”Focus on the Good.” It is easy to focus on the good when we are happy and contented but is a struggle when we feel otherwise. So I want to begin the year with this thought and hope to continue with this positivity.

As of now I and my husband are still both waiting for the results of our PCR test and I told a friend that I am thinking positive that all will be good …. she told me that should it be ”think NEGATIVE” ? Oooops

HNY Ali. Sorry to hear about your son and girlfriend. Hope their case is not too bad. My results are not yet back so still waiting.
And yes, Melbourne’s cases keep on rising even if vaccination rate is high, so I really don’t know what the future is gonna be like.

That’s a great message with which to start the year Teresa. I hope you get (got by now?) negative PCR results, or if not, that you won’t be badly hit.

    1. Teresa says:

Yup, got the result I want. But it is my daughter now who is waiting. Have a good day Sarah.

      1. Toonsarah says:

Oh dear – there’s just so much around right now, isn’t there? 😒

        1. Teresa says:

Here in Australia, authorities estimate one in 20 Victorians aged in their 20s currently have the virus 🦠 I guess it started with the holiday season.

          1. Toonsarah says:

They estimated 1 in 15 across the whole UK population yesterday!

Same to you and yours. ❤️

Hard to be positive all the time though. I think you have to allow yourself time to have a moan about something, be a bit of a grouch and misery, then cheer up when you’ve got it out of your system. My own resolution for New Year? Not to make any resolutions. I find nature has a way of upending them and I end up blaming myself.

  8. Teresa says:

Exactly… no NY resolution is the way to go. Just doing your best everyday is good enough for me.
