Flowers in Monochrome

Here are more flowers I discovered during my recent walk in Sassafras. I’m sharing these as part of Leanne’s Monochrome Madness. While there’s no specific theme this week, I’m inspired by her focus on flowers.

I am also linking it to Cee’s FOTD Challenge

I like that you went with the less bright colours ending up with various shades of grey (I almost wrote “gritty” shades but I’m not sure if flowers can be gritty). They look as if they are just out of grasp.

Glad you liked that. I love the shades of grey.

I like these monochromes of flowers. A different side to these colorful subjects.

I don’t usually like the monochrome on flowers because it lacks the vibrancy, but some flowers are good at it.

          Haha thanks for that Nes.

Lovely flowers Teresa, I like that you did some that aren’t light coloured, you have inspired me to try doing that.

    1. Teresa says:

That’s nice of you to say.

These are good, you can see the detail more in black and white. In colour you only look at the petals.

    1. Teresa says:

That is one way of looking at it. Thanks for your point of view, Ali.
