Poison or medicine but definitely gorgeos. What a wonderful colour.
Good warning. I learned that from a PBS murder mystery, where the plant was the murder weapon.
It’s famously poisonous: but still useful in the right hands as medication. I shan’t be eating any though!

Many heart medications in Germany carry the name digitalis in their generic name in one form or another. I guess I’ve always known, probably since the first time my mother admonished me about not touching the flowers when I tried to in the woods.
Well I knew a bit about it and that it can be medicinal but not that it is poisonous. Never too old to learn something. Thanks Elke.
