This is a building in Melbourne CBD which is the former General Post Office of Victoria, known as the GPO. It is now a shopping centre and before pandemic was a bustling area with cafes, shops and buskers on its doorsteps. I have taken photos of this location at different times with different lighting at different occasions, which I have previously posted for Christmas in July Square Perspective and you can click here to see it.

Now I am posting this for Becky’s PastSquares and for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge CFFC – Arches

      Yes, the building looks grand and it is right in the middle of the CBD… so lucky they found a new lease of life.

    Difficult one! It works well as a square but I think I like the original best.

      Yeah same. It is not easy to find photos that look good in squares.

    Beautiful architecture shot, Teresa. I think I like the cropped one better. It really highlights the series of arches.
