Alowyn Gardens with friends

Alowyn Gardens, located in Victoria, Australia, is a stunning horticultural destination that offers a blend of natural beauty and carefully curated landscapes. As we entered the gardens we were greeted by period carts, oil lamps, flowers and sculptures.

We paid our discounted entry since we were all seniors. Then we proceeded to the Autumn Harvest area where there were all sizes and colours of pumpkins. This was our walk last weekend and I am linking it to Jo’s Monday Walk.

Then we passed by the arched walkway covered with Wisterias which were only starting to bloom. What a sight to behold.. just sad that my captures aren’t that good.

The Kitchen Garden was vivid in my mind, but the rest of the place felt like a blur. Even with a map in hand, we somehow ended up lost, just like always.

Alowyn Gardens is a beautiful seven-acre garden in the heart of the Yarra Valley. It showcases seasonal flowers and landscapes, thus displaying the natural beauty all year round!

Beautifully landscaped garden and trees

I am also linking this to Monday Window Challenge.

I unexpectedly discovered this stained glass window in the nursery, cleverly tucked away from plain view.

I really don’t like Halloween but some of the displays of gourds are great. Fantastic wisteria, Teresa! I always find it really hard to capture and you’ve done a good job. The gardens are lovely. Thank you xx

I don’t think I gave the Wisteria justice. But thanks for saying that!
