Holyrood House Windows

At the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, the windows beautifully connect the front building,  to the grandeur of the royal residence to the haunting beauty of the ruined abbey.

    Great photos!
I like that you were able to get blue skies, something I didn’t get when I last visited Edinburgh. 😊

Oh no. What month did you go? This was in October and the second time we went was in November and we had blue skies both times. Thanks for commenting Nes.

Lovely shot of blue sky through the window in the ruin. Edinburgh never disappoints!

Agreed. It never disappoints. Thanks Helen.

  3. That’s beautiful Teresa. I’m trying to recall if I have been to this place. I always like going through our old travel photos, and I’m gonna do that right now, thanks to you. 🙂

It’s in one end of the Royal Mile so you won’t miss it. Thanks for commenting.

I remember it fondly, even though I was there on a damp day.

A different feeling on a damp day. I guess we were just lucky to have these sunny days.
