The Quirky made me smile

Whenever I travel, I’m always on the hunt for quirky finds. I’m thrilled to put them to good use this week for the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge (LAPC), themed This Made Me Smile. This week’s challenge is hosted by Ann-Christine, making it the perfect opportunity to share the little things that bring joy.

I’m not sure what these are made of, but they make an adorable window display.

These look like dancing legs—but where’s the torso?

Tiny smiling mice… and they brought a smile to my face too.

So cute. I think this is made out of cork.

“Please look after this bear. Thank you.” Awwww

Tim captured our photo, and now, looking back at it, I can’t help but smile.

And who are these climbing on the brick wall?

And finally, last weekend, I saw these kids because my sister in law was baby sitting. Lucy with her cute face painting, Remy with his adorable smile, and Marion with her big eyed sweet, innocent expression. These kids may not be quirky, but they still brought a big smile to my face.

I’m sure the ghosts could find a home in my daughter’s house, but I’d have the cork set.

Thanks Margaret. Don’t see much of the little ones so it is fun to watch them do their thing.

It’s the same for me. Distance can be a pain sometimes, can’t it?

You’ve found some creative situations that have smile written all over them Teresa. The wall climbers are certainly unique and children always instigate smiles. Well done!

The wall climbers are a great find I agree. And the kids were a mixture of smiles and covering the ears when they cried loudly.
