Experiencing a stroke in 2017 profoundly shaped my outlook on life. Despite no warning signs, my commitment to staying healthy, influenced by my mum’s medical history, proved vital. The occurrence during my Zumba class, as per doctors, highlighted the positive impact of staying active and moving during the incident.
The saying “Life is short” resonates with me, and I’ve embraced it as a guiding principle. How I live, sleep peacefully at night, and then having the uncertainty of waking up the next day emphasize the importance of the choices we make in our lives.
Now…I make a conscious effort to travel as much as my budget permits, relish life’s simple pleasures, connect with friends, and express love through both words and frequent hugs to those who matter most in my life. Lastly, I am more thankful to the Lord for giving me a chance to enjoy life…one more extra day!
Every day is a blessing for sure Teresa 🙂
True true ❤️
Beautiful reflection and wonderful photos. Life is indeed precious. Thanks for sharing this inspiring post, Teresa.
Thanks so much Nes. Don’t get me wrong, there are times when I forget to say Thank You but I try. We are really blessed to be living the way we live.
Exactly, Teresa! None of us knows when today is our last day.
Just live life to the fullest. 👍
