“Maybe it’s just a daughter’s job to piss off her mother.” . Chuck Palahniuk Diary
I was thinking of a topic to write about and this suddenly came to mind. What if I let my kids write something about me. So today, i asked my daughter, Pat, to be my guest blogger.
Jack often tells me that the reason why i and my daughter usually clash is because we are the same in more ways than one. I don’t agree with him but come to think of it… maybe it’s true.
So this was what she wrote… am I a softie or does any mum who reads this be touched by her lovely words?
“Mum, to me you are home. A place I feel safe, loved, supported and understood. A place where no matter how far away I am I can hear your voice and be taken back to warmth. You are a superglue that brings our family together seamlessly. You are joy, radiance and a cheeky smile which brightens up my day. You should be proud of who you are and what you’ve achieved, love you my mama. “

🥲 that is so lovely. You should write that on a photo of her, do a print and have it hanging in the house
Oh wow what a great idea. Maybe I really should! 👍
They are wonderful photos too Teresa 🙂
