“In the universe, there are things that are known, and things that are unknown, and in between there are DOORS.” – unknown
I am back to what I love doing … it is walking around the streets of Melbourne and capturing whatever I find interesting.
This week I am featuring Murals on Doors in one of the Alleyways of Fitzroy, a suburb of Melbourne.
These are fun. I like how the first one seems to incorporate the ivy. I’m not sure if that was the plan, but it’s a lovely effect. I think my favorite is the ladybug. Thanks for taking us along on your walk.
Yes that is one corner building and the ivy goes on the front and side of it. My bad, I wasn’t able to take a shot of the whole corner as my husband was already in the car rushing me. 😳 happy that you liked it Dan.
All of these look quite amazing 🙂
Thanks Hammad… good I didn’t miss and I almost did!
I love it when the murals and foliage merge together. The first one does that really well.
Thanks Jean…twas in a hidden laneway…lucky I went down and looked at it!
You never know what you’ll find down those laneways.
Worth going on a walk to find such interesting murals.
Thanks so much Maris!
Its weird how well the artwork goes with the vegetation.
Sure does…even the colour!
What a creative murals, Teresa. I love the first one espeically.
I just saw the colour of that at the end of a long alleyway and I told my husband to just stay in the car and I won’t be long. But who knows how long I was there for haha Thanks for commenting Amy.
Some great finds here, but I’m just happy to read that your out and about again. Hurrah!!

Yes Janet, 7 days of no new cases here and the vaccines are rolling out. So thankful that we are in a good situation over here. I hope you are too! Have a great day my friend!
We’re doing much better. My parents and I get our second shots this week and my husband his first, so we’re happy about that!
Perfect, these really are my kind of doors.
Same here!
Just popping in here to tell you that when I click on the link for your latest post on Avignon, I get the Oops, this page can’t be reached. Something’s not right so you may want to look at this.
Oh thanks…will look into that.
Is it too much to ask but may I know what the title of the post is? I had been searching for it but everything opens in mine. Thanks so much.
Oh, I love these! I can’t wait to take long walks and capture some different shots!
All of us are waiting for that time! Have a good one Chandra!
love the first two! 🙂
Thanks Wi!
A bit late to visit, but I am glad I did. The artwork is amazing and I love how the ivy creeps along 🙂
Honestly, those legs re fantastic! 🙂
Happy that you dropped by, Patricia. Yes, I agree with you about those legs!
Beautiful!
Pat
Eye-catching murals, Teresa. I like the colours in the first photo and the ladybug photo where there is a window with iron work. #ThursdayDoors
Glad that you liked them, Natalie.
Great mural images Teresa! We have many murals in Sacramento created through our yearly Wide Open Walls festival.
Wow, that would be great to see.
This is my latest post on the walls. Not the best but with COVID it was difficult. https://annegeephoto.com/2020/10/07/on-a-hunting-trip-wide-open-walls/
Thanks for sharing!
I love how the ivy and other plants are taking over — or at least framing — the murals. Nice touches and great photos!
Thanks a lot for stopping by. The colour of the ivy blends well with the mural doesn’t it?
Yes!!
