When I first open my eyes…

“When I first open my eyes upon the morning meadows and look out upon the beautiful world, I thank God I am alive.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today….I am grateful for another year of life. This is my fourth year anniversary since I had my stroke. Thank you Lord!

P.S. And when I opened my eyes, I saw that Insta and Facebook are both down. What the?!?!

Oh yes, it was scary…And up to now my brain function is not back to 100%. Sometimes hard to think of what words to use.
That photo was taken in Sandringham a beach suburb near Melbourne.

      Thanks Jo. ❤️

Gorgeous picture! Anyone would feel cheered on seeing that. Take care and enjoy that anniversary.
Apropos your PS, on reading that Facebook and Instagram were down across half the world my immediate reaction was to let out a cheer that the media responsible for hate crime, riots (especially the Jan 6th one in the USA), aggressive behaviour and aggressive writing, not to mention causing harm to individuals, has been silenced at least for a few hours. I wonder if Mark Zuckerberg took a few minutes to think of all the harm his empire is causing in the world today.

    1. Teresa says:

Thanks for the well wishes Maris.
And Maybe Mark Zuckerberg did think about it…he Lost a lot of money even with just a few hours of outage. 🙄
