Near where I live…

“Water is the mirror of nature.” – Francis of Assisi

I am constantly being grateful for having such peaceful places around me. I am able to combine my daily walk with the joy and serenity of my surroundings.

***photos taken this week from the Casey Wetlands and the Wilson Botanical Gardens

For Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Water found in Nature

I don’t get tired having this as my companion.

Oh yes, they can be quite noisy sometimes …. but who cares!

Their quacking, their bird calls and the flapping of their wings make me feel even more relaxed!

I saw this lovely lady by the banks of the wetlands, with her grandson feeding bread to the birds. I politely told her off, but I don’t think she understood me, as she was speaking another language and she continued to feed the swan.

P.S. sent this photo to Channel 10 news and they featured it last night. 😀😂👏👏👏👏

Now I am the one who’s writing that to you (I deleted it a few weeks ago, because support sent me on an endless tour of troubleshooting, so I was tired of it). Beautiful and romantic captures!
