    Love the lavender rhododendron but I don’t like the black and white version. Surely the point of flowers is their colour? Nice effort though. I have one just that colour but it’s still in bud. A few more days and I hope it will be a magnet for bees and butteflies.

        I know you do and the exposure was excellent. The opinions expressed are just mine. I don’t like birds either in black & white – apart from gulls and black and white birds. Robins, parrots, kingfishers, all lose something when photographed in monochrome but, as I said, that’s just me!
