It’s hard to believe it’s been seven years since Tim left Melbourne for London. I cherish our video calls, but I still miss seeing him in person.
Today is Tim’s 34th birthday, and I wanted to send him a special message here because I know he’ll see it eventually—after all, he’s the one managing my WordPress account. Happy Birthday, Tim! Even though we’re miles apart, my thoughts and love are with you always.
And talking of 7, I am linking this post to Seven in September.
such wonderful shots, and looks like you have been further afield than London!
and a very Happy Birthday to Tim 🎂
Thanks Becky.
Thanks and yes we did.
Happy Birthday, Tim! Hard to be so far apart. When will you see him again, Teresa?
And I just have to ask, since you mentioned it, how does he manage your account? I don’t get it! Did he set it up for you and you contribute?
Well he might come next year or we shall see each other in the Philippines at a later time. No definite plans yet.
Well, it’s a long story. I always only had the free plan so I always ran out of space. Then he said he will get me the five year plan and he did all the technical side and combined all my past blogs. He made my photo sizes smaller automatically too.
What a good lad xx
Thanks Jo.
How lovely. My daughter isn’t quite as far away – only Barcelona. But on the posive side I relish the chance to visit Spain often with a real reason. I guess you feel the same about London.
I always want to visit but it’s the long haul flight that is killing my desire.
I get that. We’ve decided against any more long haul.
I have decided that too. But my husband is begging for even just one more. So maybe I will give in. The problem is, aside from London, where else do we go to?
Oh, in the circumstances, it has to be London. Then come to Yorkshire and discover all it has to offer!
I have more places to visit in Asia so going to Europe will still be in late 2026. So much can happen before that time. We shall see.
Happy birthday!
Thanks a lot VJ.
Welcome.
I know you miss him but I guess it’s good to at least have those video calls – so much better than in the past when the only contact was an expensive phone conversation or very slow to arrive letters!
For sure the video calls are great. But no hugs… that’s what I miss too! Thanks for commenting Sarah.
You must miss him terribly. My daughter is ‘just’ 450 miles away but I miss lunches with her x
I guess it doesn’t matter how far, we just miss our kids … that’s it.
