We’ve spent a few days in Paris for our holiday in October of 2023. We explored the different arrondissements of Paris, while wandering alleys and main avenues. Here are some doors that I was able to capture.
Ornate gilded gate of the Paris Palais de Justice with the steeple of the Sainte-Chapelle in the background.
Some elegant and regal doors
This one may have seen better days but traces of elegance can still be seen.

France is full of fabulous doors. These are lovely.
Thanks Jo ❤️
Lots of character in these Parisian doors and entrances.
Very much so!
Grand indeed Teresa
Thanks Brian.
Paris was simply made for Thursday Doors!
Haha I guess that is true.
You’ve definitely gone for the doors of the richer classes today. Fabulous.
Oh haha yes, of the rich and famous maybe.
These are really stunning. I love the blue doors.
That blue door is really eye catching.
These are lovely, Theresa. I love metal gates and the ones you captured are amazing.
Thanks Dan. Paris is the place for doors.
We get so many doors from France. It’s like it’s in a race with Italy for doors.
I agree. So happy to see them in both countries.
Thank you for taking me on a visit to my favourite city today 🙂 You’re right, Paris has some fabulous doors!
Very grand! Was it a fish eye lens you used on the blue door? Nice effect.
Nope, but I think I used the wide angle lens of my phone camera. Thanks, happy that you liked it Rebecca.
So much beauty. I like the ones that were once grand but now have a faded beauty.
Yes, love that one too!
Spectacular gate and the doors are indeed grand!
Definitely. Thanks Brenda. I just visited your site and it seems like we have the same layout. Haha great minds huh.
Great minds indeed! 🙂
