It is Australia Day Public Holiday today and Forecast is… was gonna rain at 5 pm. So hubby and I decided to go for a walk in the local Lysterfield Lake early morning.
Lysterfield Lake is very popular for canoeing, kayaking and sailing. People go for a swim as well as go for a walk on the circuit trail. and that last one was what we did.

From the car park, this is the first thing we saw. I wonder what it was and what are they going to use this for?
We couldn’t go for a fast walk because there were so many things to see.
This was the amazing peaceful view when we went up the bridge.
And now the hard work begins…going uphill this stoney trail.
After the sweat and the heat comes this peaceful feeling again upon going back down.
And what do you know… we saw a Kangaroo happily having its meal.
And that was our Australia Day of 2022 done and dusted.

It is so peaceful except when you go near the shore where the people go swimming.
