I posted this last year as “A View from the Opposite Side” but I didn’t have the WordPress Image Compare yet then, so today I am posting it again for Becky’s PastSquares. It is a bridge that seemed to be shot at a different time of day just by photographing it from the opposite side.

It looks like the Humber bridge in Yorkshire, but I know it isn’t. I often forget about Compare but this works well, Teresa.
I like using Compare but only when it suits the photo. This one doesn’t fit too much but I tried. 🙄
great comparison Teresa
Thanks Ali!
Fantastic 😃
Thanks Jez 👏👏👏
wow how amazing – would have thought it different days! Great use of the image compare, and welcome back to squares!
Happy to be back. It is just breaking my mind on how to use the PAST topic.
I’d say anything goes this month as whether you use a previous theme, a photo taken earlier or re-share previous posts – all is past 🙂
Yup I just have to get into it. 👍🏼 Thanks Becky.
Beautiful!
Thanks Aletta…happy that you liked it!
I lie this Teresa. We’ve experiencing radically different looking skies lately. This is dramatic.
Thanks Dan 👏👏👏
(‘ve never used Image Compare so you’re making me think about what I might do with some images. Your bridge looks terrific.
Nice to try…some photos look good using it! I’ve got to see what you end up posting! Good luck Maris. 👍🏼
Clever use of the image compare block to show us how different the two angles look – and an important reminder to look all around our subjects to see how the light changes the image 🙂
Yes, good advise, Sarah! The camera plays tricks on us sometimes.
beautiful take! 🙂
Thank Wi!
